27-year-old Prokhor Shalyapin is marrying 57-year-old Larissa Kopenkina. In mid-summer the famous singer Prokhor Shalyapin made an announcement that shocked the whole country. During a romantic walk on a boat 27-year-old singer made a proposal to his 57-year-old girlfriend – Larissa Kopenkina. Lovers met six months ago at one of the foreign resorts and since then have been inseparable. But the happy event in the life of the popular singer and his bride was a tragedy for their families. Prokhor’s mother swears she will not bless her son to marry a pensioner, and the son of an elderly bride is jealous of his mother to the newly formed young dad. Future newlyweds prove their right to become husband and wife, despite the age difference of 30 years.

Prokhor Shalyapin (Andrei Zakharenkov) was born on 26 November 1985, Volgograd, USSR – Russian singer, a finalist of the “Star Factory-6”, the winner of the contest of young performers “Morning Star” in 2006. Winner of the contest «Star Chance» in New York, the winner of the show “Two stars” in Volgograd. Repeatedly acted in concerts in front of the first persons of the state of Russia and CIS countries. He graduated from the Central School of Art at the Volgograd branch of Samara State Academy of Art and Culture.

From 1991 to 1996, Prokhor Shalyapin was a member of the vocal group show “Jam”. Having moved from Volgograd to Moscow, graduated from the Faculty of folk singing of State Music College. In 2008 he graduated from the Gnesin Academy of Music. In 2008 he entered for the second higher education the Russian Academy of State Service under the President of the Russian Federation, the department of political science and political management.

Prokhor Shalyapin was awarded the medal “For a great contribution to the cultural, moral and patriotic education of military divisions ODON MIA RUSSIA in 2010. Awarded the “Young Talent of Russia – charoite star” in 2011.
