In the creation of model of St. Basil was involved a large team of highly skilled craftsmen, specialists in art processing of precious metal filigree and processing of natural and decorative stones. Great Imperial Crown was commissioned by Empress Catherine II for her coronation in 1762. Masters – GF Eckart and I. Posier. By luxury and splendor it surpassed the crown of all European monarchs. Over the following centuries been used at the coronation of all future Russian emperors. The original is now kept in the Diamond Fund of Russia.
This product is hand-made on the images and sketches of the original. Developed and adapted to the finished crystal jewelry inserts by Austrian company Swarovski, creative team led by sculptor Dm. Ovsyannikov.

In the manufacture of the crown were used non-ferrous metals and alloys (nickel, brass, tin, copper), jewelry enamel inserts in the form of crystals. It took more than 3,500 pieces of crystals to manufacture the crown. At work, the focus was directed at the general aesthetic perception of cultural and historical masterpiece of jewelry. Made in Russia in tribute to the great masters of the past and to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the imperial Romanov dynasty.
