Lotus Lake Artyomovskoye is located in the district of Artyom, Primorsky Krai. Locals call it Lake Karasin. In the vicinity of the lake is Artemivska CHP, but this body of water is not used for its intended purpose. In mid-summer, in the second half of July, begin to blossom lotus flower meadows and continue to delight thousands of tourists til mid-August to see magnificent lake with their own eyes.

Lotuses appeared on the lake thanks to former chairman of Artiomovskiy village – Anatoly Chinak, more than ten years ago. He brought lotus seeds here, on the warm lake, which conditions became ideal for growing. On the lake remained rare species – Komarov lotus. It is interesting by the fact that its young flowers are blooming in the bright – pink color, and at the end of flowering, it becomes almost white.
It is possible to swim in the lake next to the blooming lotus meadow, covered with legends. Local people believe that the spray of water from flowering Lake Karasin will bring good luck. A small wooden staircase leads from the shore to the lake. The bottom of the lake is sandy, the water is warm, swimming jere is a pleasure especially for children.
