It should be noted that the phenomenon of Putin in the image of the Great Khaan is a natural phenomenon. Is it possible to see Russia as “the heir to the Horde”? – a question that can now be called quite speculative. And at the request of “Eurasians” Denis Tsyrenzhapov has presented his own vision of president Putin and Russian people.

Editorial “Gumilev Center” decided to clarify the motives of Denis Tsyrenzhapov’s experiment. Here’s what the author said: “Modern Russia – the successor of the Golden Horde. Russian culture took over from the Golden Horde Mongol culture and formed government that kind of power. At the end of the 15th century (and finally under Ivan the Terrible) Khan’s bid has been moved to the Kremlin, Khan moved to the Kremlin and the king became Khan. Do not forget that the Mongols created two super powers – Russia and China. But once we all lived in the same country. And I’m not talking just about the inhabitants of one country, I mean, Russia, Mongolia and China (as well as Iran, Iraq, Indonesia) were part of the same country!

“It happened during the period of the largest in the world history of the state – the Mongol Empire! State prevailing in the XIII century as a result of the conquests of Genghis Khan and his successors, included the largest in world history adjacent territory from the Danube to the Sea of Japan and from Novgorod to almost Australia (area approx. 33,000,000 square kilometers). So I painted our Putin not as president, but as Khan”.
