Russian night cities From Space look very beautiful. Street lighting clearly outlines the boundaries of the urban area, and often we can see the most bizarre landscapes. However, to obtain such images is very difficult. To capture the city nightlife in all parts requires a longer exposure. Because of this, the image when shooting is inevitably blurred, because the ISS is flying over the city at high speed – over 7 km / s! The astronauts have learned how to get high-quality images only after the station has been installed with the homemade tracking system similar to clockwork mechanisms that are mounted on telescopes. Now, in urban images taken from a height of about 300 kilometers, you can see the neighborhoods and even individual streets.
