One of the advantages of car sharing, a car rental service by the minute, is that there are no problems with parking. Having used the car, you simply leave it on the street and go about your business. However, this does not mean that you can drop your rented vehicle anywhere.
Each company has its own clearly defined car-sharing parking zones in Moscow. Within their limits, it is allowed to complete the lease. You can also pick up a free car there if you decide to use the service.
How to get a car sharing car
In the application that you download when registering with the service, the most important thing is the map. It displays free cars that are near you. Choose the one that is parked in the most convenient place, book and go for it. The reservation is free for 20 minutes, then the paid tariff is included in the standby mode. The territory allowed by the rules. Traffic rules also apply to carsharing cars, that is, you cannot leave a car under the “No parking” sign. It is forbidden to leave a car in closed parking lots with a barrier or underground parking lots at shopping centers and hotels. But you can come to a paid city (namely, municipal, not private) parking, and in this case they will not take money from you.
Where you want to leave the car, you must have a connection – cellular and Internet. Without this, for obvious reasons, you will not be able to close the lease and pay for car-sharing services.
The parking space for a car-sharing machine must be within the so-called “green zone”, which each company has its own. As a rule, you can leave a rented car within the Moscow Ring Road and at airports, but the latter are not represented by all operators. It is always important to clarify the territory served by the car-sharing service in advance. It is indicated (usually by a green line) in the same mobile application.

Where to leave the car: within the Moscow Ring Road, Solntsevo, Butovo, Novo-Peredelkino, Mitino, Kurkino, Kotelniki, Putilkovo, Novokosino, Reutov, Khimki, Kommunarka. Special attention is paid to large residential complexes outside the Moscow Ring Road, there are also parking zones there.

Fines for violation of a car-sharing parking zone in Moscow
Companies adhere to their policies regarding parking tickets. We are talking about illegal parking both from the point of view of the law and from the point of view of the company.
When improper parking has led to traffic violations, the company will pay the fine itself. It will be written off from you later and they will also take a commission. When carsharing is evacuated for the wrong parking, the user is given the right to choose. Pay a large amount (about 6,000 – 8,000 rubles), and then the company will take the car itself. Or pay a fine and personally pick up a car from a special parking lot.
If the client left the car in a place that is legal from the point of view of traffic rules, but left the car-sharing parking zone and left, then the operator determines the amount of the fine. As a rule, from 5,000 to 15,000 rubles.
