Ramenskoye Residential Area Colorful Houses
In recent years, bright colored houses have become popular in different cities around the world. The Moscow region of Ramenskoye is no exception. Approximately in 2000, the city administration decided to make its city unusual – to paint houses with beautiful and bright patterns, thus transforming boring residental houses into a work of art.
This art project is not some graffiti or just a painted in blue, green, yellow, and red facade.
When you look at these houses alive, you get the impression that a small child painted them with a brush and paint. Besides, Looking at such houses immediately creates extremely positive emotions and the mood rises by itself. You want to live, and want to look at these beautiful houses. Located in the forest area, 46 kilometers southeast of Moscow, Ramenskoye has become the brightest spot on the map of Moscow region. It’s population is about 100 000 people. This city has a long and glorious history. According to historians, the first written mention of the Ramenskoye Grand-Ducal Volost refers to 1328. However, Ramenskoye started from textile factory founded in 18 century, and was one of the largest in the Russian Empire. After receiving the status of a city in 1929, Ramenskoye began to develop. Now it is the area of scientific institutions, various companies that develop infrastructure of the area and the city. The town is really a nice place to live in.
