Russian artist Alexander Leonidovich Dudin
Alexander Dudin was born in 1953 in the Crimean city of Yalta. As early as 6 years he decided to become an artist. In 1973 he graduated from the Gorky Art School. Then he entered the Faculty of Arts of All-Russian State University of Cinematography, from which he graduated in 1979 with honors. He served one and a half years in the army, and on his return from the army was invited to teach at All-Russian State University of Cinematography. Alexander Leonidovich Dudin – a member of the Artists Union of Russia, a talented painter and graphic artist, author of illustrations of an enormous number of books from the Bible to modern classics. A brilliant draftsman, possessing different techniques: oil, watercolor, sanguine, charcoal, pastels – he is admired not only as a virtuoso, but also as the creator of the complex in composition and philosophical content of the paintings.
Alexander Dudin participated in a large number of exhibitions, including personal, in various cities of Russia and abroad. His works have caused a wide resonance among professionals and connoisseurs of art. Currently, Alexander Leonidovich teaches drawing at the Art Department.
