Russian gymnast Margarita Mamun

Russian gymnast Margarita Mamun took the 2013 Rhythmic Gymnastics World title on Ball at the 32nd Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Kiev, Ukraine, RIA Novosti informs. Margarita Mamun – one of the most talented young artistic gymnasts of Russia. As a part of the team, holds the title of International Master of Sports. She was born on November 1, 1995 in Moscow. Margarita is half Russian, half Bengali. Her father is from Bangladesh. That oriental roots explain the incredible expressiveness, lyricism and plasticity of Mamun. Rita at the age of seven began to go to a section of gymnastics, her mother encouraged her. Margarita Mamun has been trained under the guidance of coach Amina Zaripova, pupil of Irina Viner. In the national team her coaches are Irina Viner and Alisher Usmanov.

The first big success Margarita Mamun achieved in 2011, when she became the champion of Russia in exercises with clubs, ball and hoop. Margaret also became the champion of Russia in the all-around. Margarita Mamun became involved in training with the team in Novogorsk. The same year she was sent to a competition in Montreal, which hosted the World Cup. Mamun with the result of 106.925 points ranked third in the all-around for the first time in her career and rose to adult pedestal. In the exercises with the ball Rita scored 27,025 points and took first place.

In 2012, at the World Cup in Kiev Mamun won three “bronze” – in exercises with ribbon, ball and clubs. Margaret became the absolute champion of Russia, having repeated a year later, her last year’s success. At the competition in Tashkent Rita got the 4th place.

In 2013, for the third time Mamun became the champion of Russia. She opened “gold” in the all-around at the Grand Prix of Moscow. She was subjected to the first step of the podium in exercises with clubs, ball and hoop, and in exercises with tape Mamun won the third place.

On the Thai Grand Prix Margarita won all the possible gold medals in the exercises with a ribbon, ball, clubs, hoop and all-around. Rita identical performances completed the second phase of the World Cup in Lisbon. Soon Margarita Mamun takes part in her first European Championship to be held in Vienna. As a part of team, along with Daria Svatkovskaya and Yana Kudryavtseva won the gold medal. In the individual competition won first place in the exercises with tape and was second three times in exercises with clubs, hoop and ball.

In July 2013 at the Universiade in Kazan Margarita won two “gold”. Mamun became the first champion in the individual all-around, showing a total of 73.466 points. A day with a score of 18,300 Margarita score was the first in the exercises with hoop
