Beautiful and stylish actress Maria Mironova was born May 28, 1973 in Moscow. Maria is a representative of the third generation of outstanding acting dynasty. Her parents – a great actor Andrei Mironov and the famous actress Ekaterina Gradova. Grandparents from her father – the stars of the national theater, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Alexander Menaker (1913-1982) and People’s Artist of the USSR Maria Mironova (1911-1997). Her maternal grandmother – theater actress Raisa Gradova (1923-2011), grandfather Georgy Gradov (1911-1984) was a famous architect, professor and mountain climber.
As a child Maria made her film debut in the movie “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn” (1981, the role of Becky Thatcher, director Stanislav Govorukhin). After high school she entered the Higher Theater School, but because of the birth of her son was forced to interrupt the studies. In 1993, she entered the Institute of cinematography (VGIK). In 1996, Maria Mironova graduated from the institute and was admitted to the troupe of the Moscow theater “Lenkom”. Among her stage roles in the theater – roles in “Two Women”, “Executioner’s Lament”, “The Barbarian and the heretic” (on the novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s “The Gambler”), “The Taming of the Shrew”, “Crazy Day or The Marriage Figaro”, “Tartuffe”, “The Visit”, “Jester Balakirev”, etc.
