Elena Lyadova is a Russian theater and film actress. Elena was born on December 25, 1980 in the city of Morshansk, Tambov region.

The actress graduated from the M. Schepkin Higher Theater School in 2002. Since 2001, as a student, she began to work at the Moscow Theater of the Young Spectator. Among the notable theatrical works of Elena Lyadova are the productions of The Golden Cockerel, Tin Rings, A Streetcar Named Desire, Dreams of Exile, Witness for the Prosecution and The Happy Prince.

Film career of Elena Lyadova

The debut of the young actress in the movie took place in 2005, when she played the role of Rimma in the film by Alexei Uchitel “Space as a Premonition. Elena’s partners in the film were such famous Russian actors as Evgeny Mironov (who played the role of “The Horse”) and Evgeny Tsyganov (German). The film by Alexei Uchitel won the Golden Eagle award in two nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay. The next work in cinema for Elena Lyadova was participation in the dramatic comedy by Alexei Proshkin, “Soldier’s Decameron”, which was released in 2005.

In the same year, Elena starred in the melodrama directed by Ekaterina Shagalova – “Pavlov’s Dog”. Talented roles in feature films attracted directors of television series to Elena Lyadova. As a result, she starred in such TV serials as “Lenin’s Testament” (2007), “Protection” (2008), “Disappeared” (2009) and “The Brothers Karamazov” (2009). The latter was especially warmly received by both critics and spectators. In the same 2009, the film “Lyubka” was released, with Elena Lyadova in the title role. The actress perfectly got used to the role of the former prisoner Lyubka and secured her status as a talented and versatile artist.

The next significant film for her career was the independent drama “Tambourine-Drum” directed by Alexei Mizgirev. The tape received a special prize at the Kinotavr 2009 Film Festival in the Special Mention – Special Jury Prize nomination. After that, the actress played several roles in such series and television films as “The Return of Sinbad”. “Blizzard”, “Rat”, “When the wild rosemary bloom” and “Moscow courtyard”.
