Mikhail Porechenkov was born on March 2, 1969 in Leningrad. His father was a sailor, and his mother was a builder. After graduating from the institute in 1996, Porechenkov began acting in the theater “On the Kryukovsky Canal”, where he continued to work with Yuri Butusov, and later together they moved to the Lensovet Academic Theater. Michael’s career developed rapidly, and in those years he performed in several plays, including “Woyzeck,” “the King, Queen, Jack,” “Caligula”, “Brer Rabbit in the wild West”, “Bug”, “the Dam Ghost “and” Death of Tarelkin “.

Porechenkov made his film debut while still studying in 1994, playing the main role in the erotic comedy “Wheel of Love”.
